Hello! I am a fourth-year PhD student in the ECE department at UT Austin, and I am advised by Prof. Hyeji Kim. During my years as an undergraduate and master's student in the ECE department at UW-Madison, I was advised by Prof. Dimitris Papailiopoulos.
Broadly speaking, my research interests are within the intersection of machine learning and information theory. More specifically, I am interested in LLMs, reasoning, methods for efficient training and inference, and representation learning.
I have many hobbies, but I often focus my free time on music-related activities such as music production, sound design, playing drum set, and collecting vinyl records. I also spend a few minutes every day learning Korean and Mandarin.
