Hello! I am a third-year PhD student in the ECE department at UT Austin, and I am advised by Prof. Hyeji Kim. During my years as an undergraduate and master's student in the ECE department at UW-Madison, I was advised by Prof. Dimitris Papailiopoulos.
Broadly speaking, my research interests are within the intersection of machine learning and information theory. More specifically, I am interested in LLMs, representation learning, and methods for efficient training and inference.
I have many hobbies and I hold an appreciation for culture-rich music. My most recent interests and hobbies include weight training, nutrition and cooking, learning Korean, and playing drum set. I enjoy listening to and learning about music of the African diaspora, namely the music of Cuba and Brazil.
